JOURNEYS | The Road Home is a non-profit agency based in Palatine, Illinois providing emergency shelter, social services, counseling, and housing assistance to individuals and families experiencing homelessness and housing insecurity in 37 towns in north/northwest suburban Cook County and southern Lake County. JOURNEYS assesses and serves its clients while broadening community awareness and involvement. The agency consists of PADS Shelters, The HOPE Center supportive services, and Pathways Housing Readiness, providing comprehensive care and support for people in need. Through shelter programs, supportive services, and housing readiness initiatives, JOURNEYS helps people achieve stable housing and long-term self-sufficiency.
