Summer PADS Program

High heat and humidity lead to many deaths among the medically vulnerable and homeless in the summer. For that reason and others, JOURNEYS partners with faith communities to provide summer shelter.

Did you know?

Some clients disappear over the summer months to find alternative lodging and return when the winter shelters open in October.  When this occurs clients are unable to receive the comprehensive services provided by the HOPE Center. Summer shelter provides the opportunity for clients to stay local and receive the services they depend on.
