Every year at the JOURNEYS Women’s Luncheon, something quiet and powerful happens. A room fills with the sound of women greeting one another—warm hugs, knowing smiles, the unspoken understanding that we’re here for more than a meal. We’re here for each other. And we’re here for the women and families in our own neighborhoods who are fighting every day just to stay housed, safe, and hopeful.
Individual Tickets $65 | Table of Ten $600

Last year, one of our caseworkers shared a moment that has stayed with us. A mother—exhausted, anxious, carrying the weight of the world—walked through our doors with her daughter, looking for answers and hope. They had crashed on friends’ couches and slept in their car several restless nights but were running out options. The mother didn’t know what to do next, she didn’t know how to keep her daughter in school, or where she could find someplace safe just to give them one good night's rest.
What she found at JOURNEYS was not judgment. It was a team of women—mothers, sisters, daughters, partners—standing behind her. A community of advocates who worked to help her find shelter, food, counseling, and a path forward.
That one story is a candle of hope that lights up this community. And the spark that lit that candle was you—the women who show up when needed.
The women who care.
The women who gather each year not for recognition, but because they believe no family in our community should face these dire situations alone.
This luncheon is a tradition of compassion. A sisterhood of action. A space where your presence becomes part of someone else’s comeback story. When you take your seat, you’re joining hundreds of women who choose to transform empathy into impact—directly fueling JOURNEYS’ shelters, meal programs, counseling sessions, street outreach, and the safety-net services that help families rebuild their lives.
