JOURNEYS 2026 Annual Meeting
TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 15 | 6:30 PM
Arlington Heights Village Hall
Your Community. Your Voice. Your JOURNEYS.
This is more than a meeting. It is an open door. Every year, JOURNEYS invites the public to sit down with our Executive Team and Board of Directors for an honest conversation about where we've been, what we've built, and where we're headed. No gatekeeping. No polished presentation designed to impress. Just a real accounting of the work your community has made possible and a genuine invitation to shape what comes next.
What to Expect
This year's Annual Meeting will include a first look at our latest community impact data, an update on new and expanded programs including the launch of JOURNEYS Medical Respite, and a candid conversation about the challenges and opportunities ahead for our region's most vulnerable neighbors. You'll hear directly from Beth Nabors Powers, JOURNEYS CEO, and other agency leaders. And you'll have the chance to speak directly to them.
Why It Matters That You're There
The decisions made around this table affect thousands of people across Chicago's north and northwest suburbs. The families fighting to stay in their homes. The individuals sleeping in shelters tonight. The children who deserve a stable place to grow up. Your presence is a statement that these neighbors matter and that you intend to be part of the community that shows up for them.
